Dilworth is Charlotte’s first streetcar suburb, and was established in the 1890’s. This popular neighborhood located south of Uptown and is home to many bungalow-style homes with the occasional Queen Anne, and has a traditional neighborhood feeling. Dilworth’s streets feature stately, mature oak trees, sidewalks, and homes with front porches. East Boulevard, Dilworth’s main thoroughfare, is home to fantastic eateries, trendy and quaint boutiques, and corner cafes, making it an excellent location for a relaxing walk with a cup of coffee. Dilworth is home to Charlotte’s largest hospital, Carolinas Medical Center.
